Throwback Thursday: Mi Vida Nueva Visioning in WorkShop in Highland Park

It’s hard to believe that almost a year has passed since this workshop and that we are in the planning stages for our next next one.

We met Mi Vida shop owner Noelle Reyes in Sept of 2017. We loved her shop, her vibe and style and we just instantly hit it off. We knew we wanted to host SOMETHING at Mi Vida but didn’t want it to be like anything we had done before. We settled on a workshop format. A way to bring goal setting, inspiration and creativity into the new year.

Noelle had already hosted vision board parties at the shop so she totally vibed with the idea of a visioning class. Noelle works a fast-paced, and demanding day job at a well known fashion brand, co-owns Mi Vida, is mom to a teenaged son, and was planning a wedding. We love a business woman on her grind! It took us about 3 months to organize this event and when it finally came together… it was magic.

Another sold out show! Only THIS show was all about the people in attendance and all their goals, dreams and aspirations. There were some intimate stories shared, a few tears, lots of laughs and of course PRIZES!

Some of our attendees were new to this type of workshop and others just came in for a refresher.

Everyone left, inspired. Including US!

No event can come together without the help of community. Our ride or die assistants Kristal and Linda were on hand, as always. And what can be said about Leah Rose Gallegos and Lauren Quan Madrid of People’s Yoga that could remotely touch upon how amazing they are? We were blessed to have them facilitate the meditation and movement components of our workshop. We really appreciate their body positive and self-love approach to yoga and life.

We also had Armando shooting some great flicks.

We think this shot sums it up. Talk is Cheap but INSPIRATION… is priceless.

This series has been created to document times gone by before we had a blog. These were events that were not only fun, but worth posting about.

This event was so special that it inspired us to do our workshops across the country along with our night markets and screenings. You see, we all need to have a safe space to let go and grow. There were many breakthroughs that day and we look forward to having many more in the future. If you want to know more about our workshops, please make sure you sign up for our email newsletter.

Our next workshop will be at Mi Vida on January 27th, 2019. This will be another EPIC event but with a totally different and, incredibly powerful curriculum. SAVE THE DATE. This event will sell out. Make sure you are on our email list for tickets!
